Beta waitlist

If you choose “Keep me posted,” we store the email address you provide, the time you joined, your consent version, and your invitation status. We use this information specifically to send you a Job Radar beta invitation and administer beta access—not for a general newsletter or unrelated marketing.

We keep waitlist information until the beta invitation period is complete or you unsubscribe. Removal controls will be included with beta communications.

What we collect to run your Radar

We need your account email, first name, resume or equivalent work history, evidence you confirm, home region, desired work locations, salary floor, work preferences and constraints, Radar settings, results, saved roles, applications, and direct feedback. No payment details are collected for this free beta.

Why we use it

We use this information to create your account, confirm your experience, find and rank roles, keep your Radar current, prepare documents you request, provide support, prevent abuse, and administer beta access. These uses are required to provide the service.

Your separate improvement choice

Helping improve Job Radar is optional. If you opt in, we may create a pseudonymous research copy of coarse Radar settings, match scores, and feedback. It will not include your name, email, raw resume, contact details, exact employer history, or exact home location. You can change this choice later without losing access.

A participant ID is pseudonymous, not fully anonymous, while Job Radar retains a protected identity map. We treat it as personal data and keep the map separate from analytics.

Who can see it

You can see your own profile and Radar. Authorized owner or support staff may review a pseudonymous, coarse view when troubleshooting match quality. Detail access and extra-run grants must be authenticated and audited. Service providers for hosting, authentication, email, payments, storage, security, and AI processing receive only what is needed for their role.

Service providers we use

Job Radar runs on a small number of providers, each of which receives only what its role needs. We will update this list before adding a provider that handles personal data.

Web analytics, if added, will be cookieless and will never receive names, email addresses, resume content, employer history, or location beyond country level.

Site tracking and browser signals

Job Radar does not currently embed advertising pixels or third-party analytics that track your activity across unrelated sites. Our hosting and authentication providers receive request details needed to serve and protect the site, such as IP address, browser information, and access time. We do not use those details for cross-site advertising. Because we do not currently conduct cross-site advertising tracking, a browser “Do Not Track” signal does not change how Job Radar processes a visit. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Security

Job Radar encrypts web and API traffic in transit, enforces encrypted direct database connections, and uses provider encryption at rest. Customer resume files, cover letters, extracted resume text, profile details, and Radar search profiles receive an additional layer of application encryption before storage. Each payload uses a unique data key protected by a separately stored, versioned wrapping key. Sensitive profile and Radar fields are not kept in plaintext database columns. Access requires an authenticated, entitled account and is audited.

Invited beta accounts may upload a PDF or DOCX resume or cover letter of up to 4 MB. The file is sent to an isolated, non-persistent Vercel scanner, checked with ClamAV and current virus signatures, and parsed for text only after a clean scan. If scanning or parsing fails, Job Radar rejects the file without storing it. A clean original is encrypted before it is stored in private Supabase Storage; extracted resume text is shown for your review before you save it. No AI run starts merely because you upload a file. Malware scanning reduces risk but cannot guarantee that a file is safe. If Job Radar explicitly offers email intake during a controlled beta, email is a less-private, owner-reviewed alternative because the message and attachment pass through additional email and forwarding providers before reaching Job Radar.

Retention and deletion

Uploaded original files are removed after 30 days, or sooner if you delete your account. The scanner's temporary environment is discarded after each scan. The informal beta has no preset account end date. We keep resume text you choose to save, your confirmed profile, and your Radar while your beta account is active or until you delete your account. We will explain access and deletion arrangements if we decide to close the beta; the 30-day file limit is not an automatic account-expiry or post-expiry deletion schedule.

You can export and request permanent deletion of your active account content using the account controls. A deletion request closes access and removes active candidate records and private files; if immediate deletion fails, a scheduled worker retries it. A content-free completion record may remain. This is not a promise that every historical copy or operational log disappears instantly from every provider. We have not completed a full independent restore rehearsal for this early beta, so you should keep your own copy of your resume and any exported work.

If you previously emailed a resume to resumes@usejobradar.com, that message is held in a separate Creator inbox and is not automatically deleted with your beta account. Email support@usejobradar.com from the same address to request removal of that message and attachment. We normally remove Creator-inbox messages within 29 days of receipt; the email and forwarding providers may retain their own copies for a limited period under their policies.

If you separately opt in to product-improvement research, you can withdraw that permission. We will not make new research copies after withdrawal; previously aggregated information may not be removable from aggregate statistics.

Your choices

The account area lets you download a JSON copy of your profile, Radars, results, feedback, consent history, usage, and pasted resume text. You can also request permanent account deletion; access closes immediately and the deletion worker removes active customer records and private files, retrying if necessary. To inspect or correct information you cannot edit in the account, to follow up on a deletion, or to remove a separate Creator-inbox email, contact support@usejobradar.com from the address concerned. We verify the requester's identity before disclosing or changing account content. Waitlist members can ask to be removed the same way.

Changes to this notice

We post the current notice here with its effective date. For a material change affecting active beta accounts, we will email those account holders at least 14 days before it takes effect, except where an urgent security or legal reason requires faster action. We will ask for a new choice before using existing resume content for a materially different optional purpose.
